hereby confirm and declare as follows: I am 18 years of age or older (or, if under 18, this form is signed by my parent/legal guardian) and enter into this agreement of my own free will. I understand that Dinokeng Camp & Leisure is situated in a natural, unfenced wilderness environment within the Dinokeng Game Reserve, which involves inherent and unusual risks. These include, but are not limited to: Encounters with free-roaming wild and dangerous animals (e.g., elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinoceros, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes), reptiles (e.g., poisonous snakes), birds, and insects (e.g., spiders, mosquitoes). Personal interaction with wildlife is strictly prohibited. Ingestion of poisonous plants or polluted water, including risks of bilharzia; consumption of unknown plants or untreated water is not advised. Heat exhaustion, sunburn, dehydration, or extreme weather conditions (e.g., floods, storms, lightning). Road accidents on gravel roads due to potholes, erosion, or animals; safe driving speeds must be observed. Drowning or injury from swimming pools, rivers, dams, or other water bodies; entry into natural water sources is prohibited. Insect bites or stings; use of repellents is recommended. Fire hazards, theft, or other environmental risks in remote areas where response times may be delayed. I acknowledge that participation in any activities (e.g., hiking, game viewing, swimming, or recreational pursuits) carries these risks and that facilities may lack barriers, fencing, or advanced warning systems typical of urban areas. I voluntarily assume all such risks and waive any claims against Dinokeng Camp & Leisure, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, or affiliates for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage to person or property, arising from any cause (including negligence), except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the camp’s management. I indemnify and hold harmless Dinokeng Camp & Leisure, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from my presence, activities, or those of any persons accompanying me, except as limited above. This extends to claims by my estate, heirs, dependents, or third parties. I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by all camp rules and regulations, including prohibitions on unauthorized commercial filming, photography, or drone usage without permits. I accept full responsibility for my own safety and that of any minors or persons under my supervision, particularly regarding the swimming pool, water-based activities, wildlife encounters, and unfenced areas. Children must be supervised at all times. I authorize Dinokeng Camp & Leisure to arrange emergency medical treatment or evacuation on my behalf if reasonably necessary, at my own expense. I confirm I have adequate travel and medical insurance to cover such costs and indemnify the camp against any shortfall. I consent to the processing and storage of my personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, including cross-border transfers if required for operational purposes. Right of Admission Reserved Dinokeng Camp & Leisure reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion and without providing reasons, to refuse entry to any person or to require any person to leave the premises immediately if, in the opinion of management or its authorised representatives, such person’s behaviour, condition, or presence poses a risk to safety, security, or the enjoyment of other guests, or constitutes a breach of camp rules. No refund or compensation shall be payable in such circumstances. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved in South African courts. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect. This constitutes the entire agreement, superseding prior representations.
