About Us

Dinokeng Camp & Leisure Lodge is a privately owned lodge situated in the malaria free Dinokeng Reserve next to the Big 5 area (but inside the main gates of Dinokeng Reserve) 20 minutes drive from Pretoria and 45 minutes drive from JHB. Rustic self-catering chalets with braai. Communal Lapa, boma and kitchen-area for your own comfort. Home to bush babies, impala, blue wildebeest, njala, blesbok and servet. Open-vehicle safari rides available to Big 5 (additional fees) and Bush Spa (additional fees). We have Campsites, safari tents & chalets

New Reception, Shop and Laundry is happening.
One project that is complete is the new reception that we have been talking about for awhile !!! This is now fully operational and fully staffed for your convenience. Meet the people that are handling your booking and discuss any changes or additions you would like. And of course help you with your NEXT booking by us.
Shop/Take away taking shape.
Our shop is close to being fully operational . Fridges are in to be able to provide you with cold drinks and snacks are available plus some of the amenities you would need should you run out, or have forgotten it. The equipment needed for our take away is also mostly in and they are getting installed and prepped for service as we speak. We are still stocking the shop with all you would need so watch this space. Or even better, come LOOK at our space. And all with easy access from both swimming pools as well as accommodation.
Brand new laundry room
We are PROUD to announce that this project is now completed and available to be utilised. Situated at the side of the new Reception /Shop area this features a brand new washing machine as well as a brand new tumble drier. The area also has a surface available for sorting or folding clothes. The two machines work on a token system and reception can assist to get all in place for you.

We have been in this industry a long time and our years of experience is now being applied to make this resort our Pride and Joy, therefore transferring all our combined knowledge of what works and what is needed to make this an experience that you will be able to enjoy with us. Whether you are a camper or a guest in our chalets, our aim is to make your stay a pleasurable experience and for you to keep coming back and back again for more…. This does not mean we are not open for suggestions as we believe to stay current and in touch with our guests needs. Please do feel free to suggest improvements or new project to the owners and we will listen to all suggested. We might not be able to do them all but who knows what the future holds…
